The Junior Golf Program at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Golf Club continues to grow in popularity, attracting more children eager to learn the game through free coaching sessions.
The initiative is becoming an important pathway for developing young golfing talent in Zanzibar, with increasing support from parents and the local community.

Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Golf Club Captain Tazio Bercelli said the next Junior Golf Camp sessions will be held on July 4 and July 18, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00p.m, with participation free of charge.

"Our goal is to get more children involved and help build the next generation of golfers in Zanzibar," Bercelli said.
The program is open to children of all skill levels, from beginners to those looking to improve their game.
Club professional Stanley Sanga leads the training, teaching golf fundamentals, including swing techniques, putting, etiquette and course safety.

Bercelli said the program also helps children develop confidence, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship while enjoying a fun outdoor environment.
Participants will receive healthy juices, fresh fruit and refreshments sponsored by Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel in Matemwe, reflecting growing community support for youth golf.
With participation on the rise, Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Golf Club hopes the program will produce future golfers capable of representing Zanzibar and Tanzania at regional and international events.
Parents are encouraged to register their children for the free sessions.
