Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Golf Club's commitment to developing junior golf in Zanzibar continues to gain momentum, with 10 children from different parts of the island taking part in the latest free coaching session held on Saturday, July 4.

The growing programme is introducing more youngsters to golf while creating a pathway for the sport's future in Zanzibar through regular, professionally supervised training.
Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Golf Club Captain Tazio Bercelli described the latest session as another encouraging milestone in the club's youth development efforts.

"We are doing great. The session went very well and we had 10 junior golfers from different parts of the island," Bercelli said.
"They trained under the supervision of our club professional, Stanley Sanga, together with the coaching team. The children enjoyed every moment and are becoming more comfortable with the game. After the session, they spent time together over pizza at our beautiful clubhouse."

Bercelli expressed his appreciation to Villa Kiva Boutique Hotel in Matemwe for sponsoring refreshments for the young golfers, while also thanking everyone involved in making the programme a success.

The programme is open to children of all skill levels, with Sanga teaching golf fundamentals, including swing techniques, putting, course etiquette and safety.
Bercelli said the next free junior coaching session will take place on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and encouraged more children to take part.

Parents are encouraged to register their children for the upcoming free session as Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Golf Club continues its mission of making golf more accessible while nurturing future champions for Zanzibar and Tanzania.
