Speaking during the launch, today, July 16, Joseph Sayi, Head of Marketing and Enablement for Vodacom Business at Vodacom Tanzania PLC, said the company is proud to sponsor the tournament for the third consecutive year.

"At Vodacom, we believe sustainable business growth is built on strong and meaningful relationships. The Corporate Masters Golf Tournament is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that brings together decision-makers, innovators, and business leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities that contribute to Tanzania's digital transformation agenda.

Through this initiative, we continue to empower businesses with reliable technology solutions while creating memorable experiences for our customers and stakeholders."

Throughout the tournament, Vodacom Business will showcase its portfolio of digital, connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, and business technology solutions designed to help organizations improve efficiency, accelerate growth, and remain competitive in an increasingly digital environment.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with Vodacom's leadership team and learn how tailored technology solutions can address evolving business needs.

Ahead of the main tournament, organizers will stage a Longest Drive Challenge on July 25, featuring stroke-play competitions for men, women, and juniors.

Sayi said this year's event will, for the first time, include a junior category as part of efforts to promote the sport and nurture the next generation of golfers.

"We want to ensure the sustainability of the game, and introducing the junior category is an important step because we want to see golf continue to grow in Tanzania," he said.

Corporate Masters Chairman Kein Mbaya described the tournament as one of Tanzania's leading corporate networking platforms, offering businesses valuable opportunities for brand visibility, customer engagement, lead generation, and strategic partnerships.

"The one-day event will feature 10 corporate teams competing for the Corporate Masters 2026 Trophy, alongside a vibrant corporate village, exhibitions, entertainment, vintage displays, and a dedicated kids' corner, creating an engaging and family-friendly experience for participants and visitors alike."

Mbaya thanked Vodacom for sponsoring the tournament for a third consecutive year and praised the company's decision to introduce the junior category, saying it would help grow the sport in the country.

Corporate Masters Secretary Maryanne Mugo also thanked Vodacom for its continued support and encouraged golfers from across the country to participate in this year's tournament.
