Sea Cliff Set for 2026 CEO Golf Day

Sea Cliff Golf Resort & Spa Zanzibar is set to host the prestigious 2026 CEO Golf Day Tournament on Saturday, September 26.
The event will bring together golfers, business leaders and partners for an 18-hole Stableford competition at the scenic Sea Cliff Golf Course.
The tournament comes at a significant moment for the club, marking the first CEO Golf Tournament under the leadership of Club Captain Tazio Bercelli and Club Vice Captain Collins Chemng’orem.
They were nominated in the club’s first-ever members’ election, held in December 2025, for the two leadership positions.
Since taking office, the new leadership has embarked on a transformation programme aimed at strengthening the club, expanding participation and making golf more accessible to the wider community.
One of the most notable initiatives introduced under their leadership is the Junior Golf Development Programme, which provides free golf training to juniors.
The programme is designed to nurture young talent, introduce more children to the sport and create a pathway for the next generation of golfers in Zanzibar.
The initiative reflects the leadership’s broader focus on ensuring that the club’s growth extends beyond competitive golf and into community and youth development.
The CEO Golf Tournament will provide an opportunity to showcase the club’s facilities while bringing together members of the business community and golfing fraternity for a day of competition and networking.
According to the Barcelli, the 18-hole Stableford competition includes a green fee, driving-range practice access, halfway lunch, soft drinks and a gala dinner.
